The Boston Conservatory

Jonathan most recently played Lussurioso in Skin and Bone (adapted from The Revenger’s Tragedy by Thomas Middleton). Local director, David Gammons directed the piece in the Boston Conservatory's Zack Box Theatre. ​

Jonathan was recently seen as John Brass in We Foxes at Goodspeed Opera House as part of the 11th annual Goodspeed New Musicals Festival. The show was workshopped by the writer, Ryan Scott Oliver, and directed by Leigh Silverman, with Matthew J. Schneider's help.

THE THREEPENNY OPERA

The Boston Conservatory

Jonathan recently put his native German language skills to use by translating Bertolt Brecht's original (German) text of The Threepenny Opera into English for the Boston Conservatory's main-stage production of the musical.  It is now up for an ArtsImpulse Award for the best university production of 2015.​

Jonathan was seen as Sir Phillip Elton, "the standard of perfection in Highbury," in Jane Austen's Emma at Summer Repertory Theatre under the direction of Jackie Apodaca.

TARTUFFE

Jonathan was seen as both the flamboyant Flipote, and the Andy Cohen-esque Officer who hosts the final scene spectacular in Anne McAlexander's reimagining of Moliere's Tartuffe

SOUTH PACIFIC 

Summer Repertory Theatre, Santa Rosa, CA

Jonathan was seen in the ensemble of Rodgers and Hammerstein's South Pacific at Summer Repertory Theatre, under James Newman's direction. He was featured as the character of Lieutenant McCaffrey and in the "Thanksgiving Follies" tap number.

Jonathan put his French and German skills to good use to play his dream role: The Emcee in Cabaret at Riverside Theatre Works, a Boston theatre, during his time at the Boston Conservatory.
